Linda Brill, clarinet


Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Linda Brill attended the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Ronald de Kant, and Miami University (Ohio), where she received her bachelor's degree in music as a student of Michéle Gingras. She completed her master's degree in clarinet performance at Florida State University, studying with Frank Kowalsky.​

Ms. Brill has performed in a wide variety of orchestras in the 
Midwest, including the Northern Kentucky Symphony, Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra,Westerville Symphony Orchestra, Welsh Hills Symphony Orchestra, Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra, and the New Albany Symphony Orchestra. Since relocating to the Atlanta area in 2013, she has also performed with the Atlanta Wind Symphony, Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra, Northeast Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, and as a freelance musician in local churches and events.

Internationally, she has performed with the Echternach Music Festival Orchestra in Echternach, Luxembourg, and toured eight European countries as an American Musical Ambassador. Her chamber music experience has included performing with the Camerata Wind Quintet at the Coleman Chamber Music Competition in Pasadena, California.

As a private teacher, Linda Brill has taught beginning through advanced clarinetists ranging in age from elementary school students to college seniors. She teaches clarinet lessons convenient to Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and Cumming, Georgia, in her studio and in private homes. She has been a clinician within Fulton County, Forsyth County, and Gwinnett County Schools, having given demonstrations and master classes at Chattahoochee High School, Northview High School, Alpharetta High School, Shiloh Middle School, Otwell Middle School, Hillside Elementary School, and Ocee Elementary School. 

Ms. Brill resides in Alpharetta, Georgia, with her husband and three children.
